Episode 53- Are We The A$$holes?

So, Gina likes to comb through Reddit for fun stuff.  Her version of fun, anyhow.  This week, she shares the fun with Jill, and our listeners. She chose several stories from “Am I the Karen” and “Am I the ...” (well, you read the episode title) subreddits, and we answer those questions!

So sit back and enjoy a Salty Dog with us, while we get a bit salty ourselves! 

A Salty Dog is a cocktail vodka, and grapefruit juice, served in a highball glass with a salted rim. The salt is the only difference between a Salty Dog and a Greyhound. Some people use gin but they are wrong. As all our listeners know, I don’t gin if I can help it. Because other than a very select few gins, gin is not my favorite. I won’t go as far (anymore) as to say gin is gross but overall, gin is gross.

Salty Dog:

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz Vodka

• 3 oz Grapefruit juice

• 4 tsp Coarse sea salt

• Grapefruit slice

Instructions:

Rim a highball glass with salt. Add all ingredients but grapefruit slice and salt to shaker. Shake well until chilled. Pour over ice into a highball glass. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
