Episode 18 - How to Adult: A Beginner's Primer
The one where we tell you about the things that surprised …and continue to surprise us, about Adulting.
Seriously. We were not prepared. This is hard.
What makes hard things easier? Tequila, baby! So this week, we're downing margaritas while we ponder what we've gotten right, what we've gotten wrong, and what's just plain ol' slapstick gold.
The Classic Margarita
Are you kidding me? We haven’t had Margaritas yet? Not even on Cinco de Mayo? ¿Que diablos? Eso es ridículo. And that pretty much exhausts my Spanish. However Margarita I speak fluently. We did a classic Margarita from scratch. None of those ‘mix’ things here. Though the agave tequila we used was different, we both ended up with lovely drinks. Yum!
Ingredients-
2 oz Tequila
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Salt for the rim
Lime for garnish
